Based on the French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige,” Snowpiercer is set in a future where after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet… The only survivors are on a train that travels around the world and is powered by a perpetual engine. There is a class system whereby your location on the train is basically a reflection of your life status. How rich, how poor, how important.. ETC.
